Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Duration: Ongoing (At least until Christmas, with potential for long-term opportunities)
Hourly Rate: 12.21
Job Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking site cleaner to join a team at a new housing development in the Peterborough area. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, offering 40 hours per week. The role will involve general cleaning duties at newly built homes, including hoovering, sweeping, polishing windows, and maintaining a clean and tidy worksite.
Key Responsibilities:
General cleaning of new houses (hoovering, sweeping, and window polishing).
Ensuring that all areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness on the site.
Ad-hoc cleaning tasks as required by the site manager.
Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience, ideally in construction or housing sites (although not essential).
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Additional Information:
The position is expected to last at least until Christmas, with potential for longer-term employment.
