As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Account Manager to strengthen customer relationships and drive sales success.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of business customers, ensuring the highest levels of service, satisfaction, and sales growth. The role requires a proactive approach to account development, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions across our broad product range.

Description

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers within existing and prospective accounts.

  • Understand customer businesses and challenges to recommend solutions that add value and drive efficiency.

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, growth goals, and KPIs.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our client's footprint within existing accounts.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (customer service, supply chain, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Maintain accurate account records, sales forecasts, and activity reports using CRM systems.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to spot opportunities for products and services.

  • Represent our client professionally at meetings, trade shows, and customer events.

Profile

  • Proven success in B2B account management, business development, or sales.

  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to customer engagement and problem-solving.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.

  • Experience in industrial supplies, engineering, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), or a similar sector is advantageous but not essential.

  • Competency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Full UK driving licence (for field-based roles).
