Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Peterborough, is looking to recruit Business Development Manager to look after one particular client (Private Label). This role is to maximise and grow the account to maximise sales and revenue for the company.
Business Development Manager role: -
- Initiate and drive a strategic sales plan including pursuing new opportunities.
- PrepareProduct Costings & Quotations and negotiate prices with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Create sales budget and track adherence to it.
- Manage the key account interface with customer teams.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations including product rationales, product positioning, competitive gap analysis, and price architecture definition.
- Agree Initial CPA with customer to meet required launch dates.
- Oversee that all launches and NPD projects are delivered on time.
- Prepare and monitor forecasting.
- Manage exit plans on discontinued lines.
- Manage customer stocks and reporting on the Monthly Stock Report.
To be considered for this role of Account Manager you will have worked at Account Manager level/Business development and have previous experience of developing clients. The company are offering a salary between £50k to £70k but there is no commission in this role.
