Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities by way of proactive sales methods
- Target new customers daily that you have identified through analysing market opportunities.
- Engage in proposal activities through site visits, phone calls and emails, proposing solutions/services such as transportation, warehouse storage and fulfilment.
- Create quotations and convert into orders through strong market knowledge and regular customer contact.
- Enter all information on the CRM system, recording notes and maintaining your priority pipeline.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring retention through exceptional customer service and account management
- Answer incoming sales calls and enquiries from both new and existing customers, taking orders to pass through to operations.
- Work collaboratively with internal operations departments to provide a best-in-class journey for all customers.
- Feedback validated KPI statistics and pipeline information to management on a weekly basis.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and gather further information on enquiries.
- Gather information on competitor activities, major projects and market conditions.
