About the Role:ENB are working on a very exciting job opening with a disruptor within the training sector who are seeking a highly driven and Sales Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Executives whose role it will be is to close on pre-arranged appointments to discuss the training services offered and provided by my client.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading sales teams, possess strong leadership qualities and a proven track record delivering on sales targets and a real passion for coaching and developing teams to exceed performance targets.

This role will be based out of the Peterborough offices and therefore you will need to be within a commutable distance from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Kettering, Corby or other surrounding towns and villages.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage your sales team to consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • To convert and close on preset appointments
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, providing regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, particularly with stakeholders within the business and the target sector.
  • Collaborate closely with internal appointment setting teams to optimise the lead generation and quality to maximise on the conversion rates.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager from training or professional development industry or B2B service sales experience
  • Previous experience working within a sales teams which has appointment setters and closing teams.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire high performance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable sales plans.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for driving growth and delivering results.

Desirable:

  • Experience selling corporate training solutions, apprenticeships, or L&D consultancy services.
