Lead Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Data Solutions Architect to design and build end-to-end, data-led solutions across modern digital products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing and delivering real systems - bringing together data platforms, pipelines, orchestration, integrations, and applied intelligence in a practical, scalable way.

You will shape how data flows through products, from capture and transformation to analytics, automation, and decision-making in live environments. This is not a narrow data role; you will design complete solutions that span applications, platforms, workflows, and intelligent behaviours, staying close to the build to ensure designs work in practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build end-to-end data and intelligence-driven solutions

  • Develop and own data pipelines, orchestration, and workflow patterns

  • Embed analytics and data-driven behaviour directly into products

  • Work hands-on with modern cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Fabric or equivalent)

  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams on real delivery challenges

Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with modern data architectures (warehouse, lakehouse, cloud platforms)

  • Strong SQL and experience building data pipelines end to end

  • Experience with data orchestration and workflow-driven solutions

  • Ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions used in production

  • Comfortable working closely with engineers in product-led teams

Benefits

  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays

  • Pension, life assurance, and income protection

  • Hybrid working

  • Learning, development, coaching, and mentoring

  • Wellbeing support and flexible benefits
