Electrical Test Engineer
Location: Parnwell, Peterborough
Contract Type: Permanent
Annual Salary: Negotiable - DOE
Working Pattern: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm)

What You'll Be Doing:
As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment is in top-notch condition, ready to deliver unforgettable experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting, testing, and maintaining hire stock electrical distribution units and equipment.
- Keeping accurate records and working to schedules to maintain equipment readiness.
- Adhering to company Health & Safety protocols while executing your tasks.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on audio, lighting, power distribution, cabling systems, and rigging equipment.
- Assisting with new-build equipment projects to keep our offerings fresh and innovative.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Qualifications: - 18th Edition Qualified Electrician
- - City & Guilds qualification in Inspection & Testing (e.g., 2391, 2392, 2394, 2395)
- - City & Guilds 2377 qualification in PAT testing
- Experience: - Proven experience in Portable Appliance Testing
- - Familiarity with 3-phase systems and variable RCDs
- - Ability to perform repairs on distribution equipment
- Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- - Strong initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- - Effective workload management and prioritisation
- - Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- - Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
- Additional: - A valid UK driving licence
- - Experience with Hiretrack rental management software is advantageous, though not essential
