Credit Control Supervisor

A great opportunity for a Credit Controller Supervisor to join a well-established and employee focussed business here in Peterborough. This is a key role within a friendly and busy finance department.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Credit Control Supervisor who can confidently lead a busy credit control function while managing a dynamic and evolving workload. You will take responsibility for liaising with customers and internal departments, ensuring clear, professional communication that supports strong cash flow and positive working relationships across the business.

Due to the requirements of this role, we are seeking an individual with previous credit control supervisory experience.

The Job - Credit Controller Supervisor:

• Manage, lead and effectively motivate your team to go the extra mile
• Build strong customer relationships and understand individual creditors’ circumstances.
• Process customer payments, monitor balances and credit limits whilst controlling outstanding debtor days.
• Effectively manage a high volume customer portfolio.
• Ensure all internal systems and processes are accurately and efficiently updated.
• Maintain teams development and training in line with business requirements.
• Proactively identify and implements solutions to issues as and when they arise.

The Individual - Credit Controller Supervisor:

• Previous experience of leading a high volume credit control function.
• Proven success of effectively managing and supporting a small team.
• Being responsible for managing credit insurance for a business.
• Experience supporting a sales driven environment.
• 4+ years of experience in credit control or debt management role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; intermediate Excel.
• Experience of working with multi currencies.
• Business Central knowledge advantageous.
