A welcoming and busy primary school in Peterborough is looking for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team this September!

This is an exciting chance to make a significant impact during the most crucial stage of a child's development. Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), you will help create a fun, safe, and inspiring play-based learning environment where our youngest learners can thrive.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Implementing the EYFS framework to support children's learning and development through play.
  • Conducting observations and assessments to track progress, contributing to learning journals.
  • Working with children, building strong and supportive relationships with them and their families.
  • Creating and maintaining a stimulating, safe, and engaging learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Assisting with personal care routines with dignity and respect.
  • Collaborating with the Early Years team to plan and deliver exciting activities.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
  • Has a thorough understanding and practical experience of the EYFS framework.
  • Is creative, enthusiastic, and able to inspire curiosity in young children.
  • Possesses a warm, patient, and nurturing personality.
  • Has excellent communication skills for liaising with children, staff, and parents.
  • Is committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all children.
