Junior Design Engineer (Electrical/Electronic)Location: Peterborough, UK 5 days onsite Hourly rate: £negotiable depending on experience

What you'll do:

  • Create electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical/Autodesk Vault.

  • Develop automotive wiring harnesses for engine test environments.

  • Prepare installation guides, user documentation, and test reports.

  • Gain practical experience in harness builds and basic fault-finding.

What you'll need:

  • 1-3 years' experience in electrical/electronic design.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, 2D drafting, and/or Autodesk Vault.

  • Understanding of CE/UKCA compliance.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have: SAE/automotive connector experience, PLC knowledge, or familiarity with quality systems.
