Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Peterborough (12-Month Renewable Contract)
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support our client's manufacturing site in Peterborough. This role involves modifying, testing, and repairing machinery and equipment under the guidance of engineering staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Modify, test, and repair machinery and equipment.
Assist in the design, fabrication, and assembly of mechanical components.
Review and approve technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
Analyze test data and adjust equipment to meet performance standards.
Supervise equipment testing and suggest performance improvements.
Communicate design changes and ensure drafting accuracy.
Skills Required:
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficient in engineering drawings, calculations, and design tools.
Knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Experience with engineering software and computer applications.
