Dunbar Education is pleased to be working with a supportive and ambitious secondary school in Peterborough, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Biology specialist to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin their teaching journey in a nurturing and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging Biology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to support strong academic achievement.
Contribute to the development and enrichment of the Science department.
Support the wider school community and participate in extracurricular science activities where possible.
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Strong subject knowledge in Biology.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative teaching style.
