Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.45pm

Teaching Assistant (TA)Â Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Support the class teacher to set up the classroom
- Support all children within the class
- Provide 1:1 support with children who have additional learning needs
- Provide phonics support to children in class
- Help teacher to clear away at the end of each day
- Provide intervention support to children struggling academically within the class
- Support children with reading and writingÂ
Teaching Assistant (TA)Â Requirements / Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a classroom
- Have recently worked with children in an educational or other similar setting
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEND)Â
- Ideally hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- DBS on the update service or be willing to have a new one processed
- Able to provide professional references to cover the last two years of worK
