Teaching Assistant

Grade A Recruitment is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and positive Teaching Assistants to join amazing Primary schools in Central Peterborough. We offer flexibility, working around your schedule, with both part-time and full-time roles available. This is an excellent opportunity to support students and teachers in creating a nurturing and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Assist with student learning on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organization.
• Provide additional support during lessons, break times, and other school activities.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
