Our client is an established organisation looking to introduce better ways of working as they invest. Based close to Peterborough and offering hybrid working.

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while enabling organisational readiness and sustained value creation.

Key Responsibilities* Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives* Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation* Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project success* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies* Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders* Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices* Mentor, guide and support other CIPS project managers and team members* Foster a positive and productive work environment* Establish and manage a Project Management Office (PMO), including defining processes, standards, and best practices* Ensure the PMO aligns with organisational goals and strategy and drives project management excellence

The role requires a proven track record of setting up governance structures, defining project management standards, and creating processes for project prioritisation, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. Additionally, you should be adept at fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring alignment between project outcomes and business objectives.Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

£55,000 plus Bonus
