Profectus is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their growing IT team at a leading company located just outside of Peterborough.
The role requires a full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance due to travel to other offices.
Candidates should have experience in providing IT support, troubleshooting networks, and knowledge of technologies such as Windows 11, Hyper-V, and Microsoft 365.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 and requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

Profectus are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join a growing IT team at a leading company. Based just outside of Peterborough, this role requires travel to other offices, so a full driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance are essential.Key Responsibilities:

Provide IT support to staff, both remotely and in person.
Identify and resolve IT issues efficiently.
Install and maintain desktop/server software and hardware.
Develop and improve IT infrastructure.
Perform proactive server and desktop maintenance.
Research and implement new technologies.
Troubleshoot advanced technical issues.
Create support documentation and assist in user training.

Requirements:

Knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server 2016/19/22,
Knowledge of Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/GPO.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience troubleshooting networks (wired/wireless) and TCP/IP.

Other:

Full driving license and access to a vehicle during working hours.
