Job Title: Welder Team Leader – MIG & TIG Fabricator
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder Team Leader with strong MIG and TIG welding and fabrication abilities to join our client’s growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who can guide a team while delivering high-quality workmanship across a range of fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of welders and fabricators to meet production targets and quality standards.

Carry out high-quality MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.

Interpret technical drawings and fabricate components to precise specifications.

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

Train and mentor junior team members, promoting continuous improvement and skills development.

Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure workflow efficiency and on-time delivery.

Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets company and client standards.
Requirements:
-
Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding and fabrication.

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a workshop environment.

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Strong understanding of workshop health and safety practices.
-
Excellent communication and team management skills.
-
NVQ Level 3 in Welding & Fabrication or equivalent (desirable).
