HGV Class 1 Driver.
Salary: 16.50 - 18.00 ph including Bonus
Days: 09.00 - 19.00 hrs Monday to Friday.
Expecting new vehicle by end of this month, Volvo.
Seven day's a week, 24/7 company, providing exceptional service to the fast food and restaurant industry for over two decades.
Specialise in working with a variety of different types of businesses including Chinese, fish and chips, catering trailers, cafes, grocery stores, fast food and Indian restaurants and more.
Involved in deliveries up to a 100 mile radius of site, 80% of the loads have a driver's mate, all palletized food goods and some drinks taking pallets off a class 1 vehicle into the restaurant/takeaway leaving pallet shrink wrapped on site, collect next time for return. 10-12 drops with drivers mate otherwise half a dozen local drops.
Salary is 16.50 per hour with a quarterly Bonus paid at 1.50 ph (all hours worked).
Contracted to 40 hours pw you will average 50 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 1 HGV license (Category C).
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure the HGV's safety and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic regulations and company policies for safe and responsible driving.
