An opportunity to develop and grow a newly created business in the commercial vehicle hire industry. Working as part of an established business, this is a new venture for the business and will have a huge amount of autonomy to drive the new operation forward.This new division will provide flexible and reliable truck rental solutions with the purpose being to oversee the rental operation, ensuring smooth day-to-day management, maintaining customer relationships, and optimising fleet utilisation. Key areas of focus will include managing the daily operations of the truck rental business; developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and identifying new opportunities for growth; ensuring the rental fleet is well-maintained and compliant with all legal and safety regulations as the business grows, and managing and coordinating additional staff to support operations.
To succeed in this role, a demonstrable track-record in the truck rental, leasing, or commercial vehicle hire industry is essential. With a developed understanding of fleet management and vehicle maintenance, you will have knowledge of UK transport regulations, insurance requirements, and compliance standards. With exceptional leadership and organisational skills, you will have a self-motivated approach to your work and the ability to use your initiative. You will have strong relationship management skills and be keen to harness your skills and experience to date in an entrepreneurial working environment.
