Maintenance Engineer

Salary - 45,000

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm

Location - near Peterborough

We are partnering with a well-renowned and recognised FMCG Manufacturer near Peterborough to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

Proactively deliver scheduled maintenance to maximise production line efficiency, reliability and overall performance
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across a broad range of modern production and packaging equipment
Collaborate closely with Production Teams, sharing technical expertise and supporting operators to enhance equipment performance and reliability
Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on reducing downtime and driving operational efficiency
Support the installation, commissioning and upgrading of new machinery and production lines
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety and food industry regulations and standards
Accurately complete maintenance documentation and keep records up to date

Requirements:

Experience working as Maintenance Engineer in a FMCG or manufacturing environment, working with production/packaging machinery.
Engineering Level 3 Qualification, sich as (NVQ or BTEC)
Experience in a similar role, such as (multi skilled maintenance engineer, shift engineer, shift technician, engineering technician, maintenance technician, or electrical maintenance engineer).
Demonstrated experience of driving or contributing to continuous improvement activities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
