Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Peterborough £48,000 to £50,000 + Benefits
Day Shift: 6am - 6pm
Night Shift: 6pm-6am
Shift patterns are - 2's and 3's mixture of days and nights

As aMechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll take responsibility for the smooth operation of machinery and infrastructure across the site.
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will be:
  1. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
  2. Updating maintenance logs and using CMMS systems to track completed work
  3. Troubleshooting issues and making repairs to minimise production downtime
  4. Installing and commissioning new machinery and maintaining building fabric
  5. Preparing die plates and components, following lubrication schedules and safety standards
As a successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineeryou will be able to demonstrate the following:
  1. Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  2. Relevant mechanical qualifications and up-to-date statutory training
  3. Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret technical documentation
  4. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  5. A flexible and proactive approach, comfortable working independently or as part of a team
