A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) or Bodyshop Estimator to join a growing client with excellent facilities.
The position is in-house, with no dealings with insurance companies or customers, and offers an immediate start for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate should have experience in assessing vehicle damage and preparing estimates for repairs, particularly for cars under 8 years old with minor damage.
The role requires 42.5 hours of work per week, with shifts from Monday to Friday, either 6 am to 3:30 pm or 7 am to 4:30 pm.
A competitive salary is offered, and candidates should have relevant experience in the field to qualify for this permanent position.

The VDA position for this site is a very important role and an immediate start is on offer for the right candidate you will be working in a team of 10+ Appraisal staff.

This job role is a VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator position and ideally requires an experienced candidate. All cars are under 8 years and no medium to large accident damage.

Job Details:

VDA / Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor

·To inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained, assess the cost of repair and time scales

·To identify the correct prescribed repair method

·To prepare computerised and manual estimates and to accurately record these, maintaining up-to-date records of all estimates

·Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure understanding of correct vehicle repair methodology

Hours 42.5 a week Permanent Job.

Monday-Friday 6 am to 3.30pm or 7.00am-4.30 pm (with Lunch, Morning and Afternoon Breaks)
