Salary: £38,000 per year

Overview:
Ww are looking for a Production Supervisor to join a thriving food manufacturing business in Peterborough. This role involves leading a production team to achieve operational targets, ensuring high standards of health & safety, food quality, and continuous improvement. It offers a hands-on environment where strong leadership, communication skills, and experience with automated liquid processing systems will be key to success. You'll work closely with other supervisors on a rotating pattern, helping to drive the site's performance and culture forward.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach team members to encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain high standards of food safety, health & safety, and product quality at all times.
Manage daily production schedules, team allocation, and work rotations to ensure performance targets are met.
Actively support and participate in site audits and ensure compliance with all operational systems.
Communicate business goals clearly to team members and monitor individual and team performance.
Record and control waste levels and implement measures to reduce waste.
Update and maintain all relevant systems of work and ensure they are adhered to.
Collaborate with other departments and be flexible in supporting different areas as needed.
Measure and report key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Production Supervisor Required Attributes:
Proven leadership experience within a food/ FMCG manufacturing environment (2 years+).
Experience leading and coaching.
Knowledge of food safety and health & safety procedures.
Hands-on experience with automated processing systems preferred.
Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
Computer literate and comfortable with production reporting systems.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including days and nights.
