Project Manager - Temp Ongoing


We are looking for an experience Interim Project Manager within Adult Social Care based in Peterborough.
It is essential you have previous experience in the same role as you will be independently working within Prevention, Independence and Resilience Portfolio as well as in-depth knowledge of project management best practice, including an understanding of risk management.

On individual projects, accounting for up to 500k in any one project, with a maximum number of simultaneous projects of 5

You will work with the Senior Responsible Officers for the Prevention Intervention and Resilience portfolio on developing the overarching programme of commercial projects to generate return.

Duties will include:
* To develop, implement and assure the processes necessary for sound governance and programme management agenda.
* To prepare information, reports, and correspondence on behalf of the Senior Responsible Officers on matters relating to the commercial developments programme, including by not limited to reports for Cabinet and Cabinet Members
* To support day to day the Head of Performance and Strategic Development on taking forward projects
* To be aware of political issues that affect the work area and be able to deal with situations as and when they arise in an astute and sensitive manner.
* Provide full project support including setting up and maintaining project files.
* To ensure that all relevant policies are properly always implemented.
* To carry out all responsibilities regarding the Equalities Policy and Procedures and Customer Care Policy.
* To comply with all Health & Safety at work requirements as laid down by the employer.

Key skills and attributes required:

* Ability to prepare coherent business cases that cover all aspects of a project or products feasibility and future implementation.

* Ability to provide detailed and comprehensive reports, research, with reasoned conclusion and arguments, considering that these conclusions may not be palatable to all stakeholders, including senior politicians and officers.
* Demonstrate two or more years' experience of successfully developing and delivering projects, in either a public sector or private sector environment.
* Experience of managing complex, multi-faceted projects, or programmes

Shift Hours: 36 Hours per week

Salary: 300 Per Day
