Quantity Surveyor

Anderselite are currently recruiting for various levels of commercial staff in Peterborough. With mulitiple positions available, we are seeking to speak with Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors - offering hybrid working, on behalf of a tier one contractor. You will be based in the Anglian Water office in Peterborough. 

You will report directly to the Managing QS and  you will be expected to take responsibility got several key accounts on a large project or the overall financial control of smaller projects. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage all aspects of commercial and cost management of a project or group of projects as designated by the Project Commercial Manager. 

• Ensure robust cost management processes are always undertaken with accurate and timely reports, data, and analysis on hand to assist in commercial decisions. 

• Ensure that all project team members (including site staff) understand the contractual arrangements, to satisfy Client & Partner organisation requirements. 

• Work in collaboration with the Delivery Team to identify, implement and monitor efficiency plans throughout the lifecycle of a project or programme of projects.  

• Ensuring that proper records (including final accounts) are kept & maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available.  

About You

Essential

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• ARICS or studying for APC
• Experience working with a main contractor

Desirable

• Experience working within Water
• Knowledge of NEC contracts
