Are you passionate about the motor vehicle industry and eager to share your expertise with the next generation of engineers? We are seeking a dedicated Technician Trainer to join a well-established Motor Vehicle team in Peterborough. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the smooth operation of workshops, ensuring tools and materials are readily available for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of motor vehicle workshops

  • Organise and maintain store rooms to high standards

  • Supervise and coach students, assisting tutors during practical sessions

  • Ensure workshops are safe, well-stocked, and compliant with health and safety regulations

About You:
  • Experience in the motor vehicle industry - Essential

  • Proven ability to organise and maintain store rooms and workshop spaces

  • Competence in using relevant tools, equipment, and materials

  • Level 2 qualification in a relevant Motor Vehicle discipline

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent in Literacy and Numeracy

  • Level 3 Award in Education & Training (PTLLS) or willingness to work towards it

  • Health and Safety or technical training qualification (or willingness to achieve it)

You'll also have strong communication skills and the confidence to support learners of mixed abilities, ensuring their growth and development in a structured and engaging environment.
