Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit an Account Manager on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do

  • Drive new business and drive respective profitable product developments, projects or services programs based on customer and market requirements.
  • Spots, drives and creates profitable and strategic opportunities for new business development and service portfolio solutions.
  • Initiates customer contacts for new opportunities.
  • Completes technical analyses and supports proposal process at any stage, as part of the sales team.
  • Supports the business case for initial formal RFQ with Project Manager
  • Ensures technically proper and customer-oriented fulfilment of agreements and orders.
  • Develops contractual documents with support of Sales Leader.
  • Monitors key account operations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Point of contact to OEM in commercial matters.
  • Analyses the specific customer situation, and builds a sound network of stakeholders within Account organisation.
  • Escalation contact for all customer communications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor
  • Plans sales volumes and potential of all potential Key Accounts / OEM assigned.
  • Provides information for forecasts and planning.
  • Reports sales and revenue related key indicators.
  • Negotiates profitable proposals, in cooperation with the business Leadership.
  • Responsibility to ensure the RMA and ETZ are executed on time with support of the account specialist.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues and resolutions.
  • Generate regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback and market trends.
  • Contribute to the development of technical manuals, guides, and training materials.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (desirable).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in technical sales support, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of emission control technologies and products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to travel as need to support sale activities and customer engagements.
  • Commercial and strategic acumen.
  • Ability to seek and position client to win new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver on customer requests.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and intuitively and take lead in a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn innovative technologies and industry trends.
