Our client are specialists in their market sector, they have an exciting opportunity for a Tekla Draughtsman to join them on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do

  • Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures.
  • Generate fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to resolve design issues.
  • Review and check drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain project documentation and files.
  • Provide support and technical guidance to junior draughtsmen as needed.

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Tekla Draughtsman or similar role.
  • 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
  • Strong background in steel structures.
  • Ability to conduct site surveys.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Dedicated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in structural engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in the construction or steel fabrication industry.
