Our client are specialists in their market sector, they have an exciting opportunity for a Tekla Draughtsman to join them on a permanent basis.
The Job you’ll do
- Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Tekla Structures.
- Generate fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to resolve design issues.
- Review and check drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain project documentation and files.
- Provide support and technical guidance to junior draughtsmen as needed.
About You
- 3-5 years of experience as a Tekla Draughtsman or similar role.
- 3-5 years of experience with AutoCAD.
- Strong background in steel structures.
- Ability to conduct site surveys.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Dedicated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Valid driving licence.
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in structural engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the construction or steel fabrication industry.
