Multi Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

Job Summary
We are currently seeking aMulti-Skilled Engineerto join one of our well-established food manufacturing clients in theCounty Durham area. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure maximum efficiency, reliability, and food safety compliance.

Shifts:

06:00 till 14:00 or 07:00 till 15:00

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging machinery
• Fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
• Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Minimise downtime and respond quickly to breakdowns
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with food safety, health & safety, and site standards

Skills

• Proven experience as aMulti-Skilled Engineerwithin afood/FMCG or manufacturing environment
• Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / equivalent)
• Knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
