Job Title: Production Planner (Peterlee)

The Company:

An established Manufacturing company in Peterlee are looking to fill a brand-new role within the business, which will be in support of the Planning Supervisor.

Salary of a Production Planner

Circa £30,000 depending upon experience, can be flexible.

• Working hours – 8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday and 8am – 1pm on Fridays

Job Description of a Production Planner

• Checks orders and clarifies demand issues and deviations to previous volumes.
• Enters order data into the respective planning systems.
• Liaises with other departments (e.g., production, warehousing) to ensure schedules are met.
• Prioritises, plans, and schedules production orders and plans the respective resources needed (in Logistics or Production)
• Support outbound delivery time schedules in co-operation with clients.

Skills & experience of a Production Planner

• Strong Excel skills.
• MRP systems experience.
• High-volume Manufacturing background.
• Production Planning experience.
• Can work independently.
