The School and Role

A welcoming primary school in Peterlee is seeking a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their 2-Year-Old provision. The role involves supporting children’s early development through play-based learning, delivering age-appropriate activities, and providing individual or small-group support. You will help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages communication, curiosity, and independence. Experience working with 2-year-olds or within Early Years is desirable.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working within EYFS.
  • Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
  • A passion for the progress of pupils.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
