Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment has a great opportunity of an experienced transport planner based out of Peterlee

The role primarily is Monday - Friday. Typical shifts are 06:30 - 17:30, however earlier starts, later finishes and weekend work may be required to suit the needs of the business.

Key Duties and experience for this role include; Plan and manage loads to agreed KPI levels, Ensure planned work is achievable with road transport directive and EU drivers rules & regulations, Liaising with customers and depots to ensure all targets and deliveries are met and to ensure that the scheduling of work is accurate and up to date on traffic management system, Ensure that vehicle management, including liaison with fleet workshop wheel security, and monitoring of vehicle gross weights is undertaken and compliant, Ensure that all administrative tasks associated with the operation are completed to the required standard as well as Dealing with daily operational problems.

As well as the above a CPC qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
