Our client seeks a Construction Project Assistant to support their construction site and project teams. This role would suit someone with a construction background who is keen to grow their construction career or develop in project management. Full training and support will be provided. As a Project Assistant, you’ll work closely with our construction site and office teams to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You’ll be involved in a bit of everything – from helping with paperwork and scheduling to liaising with suppliers and learning how projects are delivered from the ground up including being on site.

Main Duties

  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the project and site management teams
  • Help keep project documents and records up to date and well-organised
  • Support in coordinating deliveries, bookings, and meetings
  • Learn how to maintain compliance with construction standards like PAS 91 and ISO 9001
  • Assist in compiling reports and project progress updates
  • Help manage files related to health & safety, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Be a friendly point of contact for all incoming enquiries and team members

Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous experience within construction
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to learn and get stuck in
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Interest in construction, project management, or property development
  • Positive, proactive attitude – no task too small
  • Full UK Driving Licence
