About the Business:

Our Client are an international business who manufactures the highest quality plastic injection moulded, painted and assembled products, using state of the art injection moulding machines and modern technologies.

About The Role:

To assist the team to meet the company goals in a timely and appropriate manner and ensure operational needs are met whenever possible. To support production operations through utilising varied skill set and support other members of the team in achieving their objectives.

The role offers an excellent opportunity to transfer to a permanent contract after 12 weeks of work for the right candidates.

Transport is available from Scarborough.

Start Dates: Immediate

Rotating Shift Pattern:

  • Week 1: Day Shift: Wed - Fri 7.50am - 8pm
  • Week 2: Night Shift: Mon - Wed 7.50pm - 8am
  • Week 3: Split Shift: Mon - Tue 7.50am - 8pm & Thu - Fri 7.50pm - 8am
  • Weekends off

Pay Rates: £12.50 increasing to £13 after 12 weeks and overtime is paid at £16.80.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assembling parts in line with customer specifications.
  • Operating press machines in a safely manner.
  • Picking and packing, as well as labelling and scanning of finished products.
  • Loading and unloading products, whilst following safe manual handling guidelines.
  • Checking quality of the finished product.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping in line with 'clean as you go' policy.

About you:

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in different areas of the business.
  • High degree of flexibility.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to follow instructions.
  • Must have eye for the detail.
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks and in line with performance targets.
