Exciting opportunity for a Head Chef with expertise in South Indian cuisine to lead the kitchen at a brand new casual dining restaurant in Eastcote, London! If you're a skilled Chef ready to create traditional and flavourful dishes in a vibrant 70-cover setting, this is your opportunity

As Head Chef in Eastcote, London, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of delicious South Indian staples like dosas, idlis, and sambhar, alongside popular Indian curries and tandoori dishes. You'll manage prep and cooking stations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef to establish a strong culinary identity for a new restaurant.

As Head Chef our responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking traditional South Indian staples.
  • Managing prep and cooking stations to ensure top quality.
  • Operating and maintaining traditional tandoor ovens.
  • Collaborating on menu innovation and specials.
  • Ensuring consistent portion control and ingredient use.
  • Following all food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Training junior kitchen staff as needed.

What we're looking for in a Head Chef:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Curry/Tandoor Chef in a busy kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with South Indian cuisine.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent understanding of spices, cooking techniques, and regional flavours.
  • A positive team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Food hygiene certification
