Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes, ensuring high quality and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and supervising team members.
- Develop and plan menus, including seasonal specials and event-specific meals, while managing food cost and kitchen inventory.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen facilities.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline operations.
- Handle any issues that arise in the kitchen and provide timely solutions.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role in the culinary field.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent hands-on experience in the kitchen.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Creative culinary skills with the ability to craft diverse menus.
