We’re recruiting for a well-regarded and fast-evolving accountancy firm in Pinner, offering an exciting opportunity for a driven Tax Manager to lead a small team and play a key role in client delivery and advisory work.

You’ll be responsible for managing the tax compliance and advisory needs of a diverse portfolio of clients, from individuals and entrepreneurs to owner-managed businesses and SMEs. With three Associates reporting directly to you, this is a role that blends technical expertise, team leadership, and client relationship management.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns for a varied client base
• Lead and develop a small team of three Associates, providing mentorship, reviews, and workflow management
• Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to advisory projects across personal and business tax
• Maintain strong, long-term client relationships and act as their primary tax contact
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and manage client deadlines
• Support partners with complex technical queries and ad hoc assignments

• CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA with strong tax background
• Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice environment, ideally in a manager or assistant manager role
• Proven ability to lead and support junior team members
• Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the confidence to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• A client-focused approach and genuine interest in helping businesses grow

• £60,000 to £75,000 per annum
