You’ll be responsible for managing the tax compliance and advisory needs of a diverse portfolio of clients, from individuals and entrepreneurs to owner-managed businesses and SMEs. With three Associates reporting directly to you, this is a role that blends technical expertise, team leadership, and client relationship management.

Role Responsibilities- Oversee the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns for a varied client base
- Lead and develop a small team of three Associates, providing mentorship, reviews, and workflow management
- Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to advisory projects across personal and business tax
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships and act as their primary tax contact
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and manage client deadlines
- Support partners with complex technical queries and ad hoc assignments

Candidate Requirements- CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA with strong tax background
- Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice environment, ideally in a manager or assistant manager role
- Proven ability to lead and support junior team members
- Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the confidence to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- A client-focused approach and genuine interest in helping businesses grow
- £60,000 to £75,000 per annum
