We are working with a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' primary school in the heart of Pinner, Harrow, who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join their Reception team on a 4-day per week basis from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a warm and inclusive three-form entry school that celebrates its rich cultural diversity and fosters a strong sense of community among pupils, families, and staff. The position is initially for the full academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will:

  • Hold QTS and have recent experience teaching within the EYFS

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum

  • Have experience supporting children with a range of needs, including SEN and EAL

  • Be confident in assessing and tracking pupil progress, and using data to inform planning

  • Be a positive team player with a flexible and proactive attitude

Key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for a Reception class, supporting both academic and social development

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across all seven areas of learning

  • Track and report on children's progress using individual Learning Journals

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards across the Early Years team
