Senior Accountant - Harrow

Package Details: £40,000-£45,000 per annum, plus company benefits (stated below)

Contracted Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Friday - 9am-5:30pm)

Location: Harrow (option to work from home 1 day a week after probation)

Our client is a progressive accountancy practice with over 25 years experience, and an excellent local reputation to match, specialising in servicing owner managed businesses, SME's, to blue chip corporations. Due to continued growth they are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant, who is still in the early stages of their career, with hunger and drive to grow their career.

Senior Accountant - The role:

  • Portfolio management: Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts in compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • Oversee and review VAT returns
  • Provide business and financial advice to clients
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and providing training as necessary
  • Identify new opportunities to provide additional services to clients




Senior Accountant - Requirements

  • Fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with a rough maximum of 2 years post qualification experience
  • Experience working in accountancy practice, within a portfolio of clients, handling accounts preparation and review
  • A team player who possesses effective communication and relationship building skills
  • A pro-active & motivated person
  • No requirement for visa sponsorship
  • Able to commute to Harrow

Senior Accountant - Salary & Benefits

  • Salary dependant on experience, ranging from £40,000-£45,000
  • Hybrid working, after probation (option to work 1 day a week at home)
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Holiday rising 1 day with every year of service up to 28 days
