A global leader in medical technology seeks a dynamic Moulding Production Technician to join our team in Plymouth. You'll be a vital part of a cutting-edge manufacturing operation producing millions of life-saving medical devices annually.What You'll Do:

  • Operate injection moulding machines, producing high-quality plastic components (Vacutainer Tubes & Caps).
  • Utilize state-of-the-art technology (packaging robots, vision inspection, automated assembly).
  • Troubleshoot machinery and processes using root cause analysis.
  • Perform planned maintenance (weekly, monthly, 6-monthly, and assist with annual).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, etc.).
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team.
  • Document production data via SAP.
  • Conduct quality control inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

What We're Looking For:

  • Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification (C&G, HND, or apprenticeship).
  • Manufacturing maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in an electrical technical role (valued).
  • Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement experience (valued).
  • Injection moulding experience (desirable).
