We are looking for a dedicated and calm individual to join their team as a School Caretaker. The perfect person could be someone with a trade who is eager to learn more within a variety of trades. You may currently be working within a singular trade and looking for a change - feel free to call me and see whether this could be a door opened for you:

Key Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance of school premises
  • Reporting to the Site Manager
  • Pressure washing
  • Painting and decorating
  • Gardening and grounds maintenance
  • Cleaning duties
  • Locking and securing the site
  • Supporting with end-of-lunch duties
  • Basic plumbing to support with small repairs (not essential)

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Basic understanding of plumbing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Calm and patient demeanour, especially when interacting with children with SEN
