Backline Logisticsare looking forHGV Class 2/Category C driversfor our client inPlymouthfor food and beverage deliveries to retail stores. Immediate starts available.
This role consists of deliveringroll cages, crates and/or palletsto retail stores in thePlymouth, Devon and Cornwall areas. Handball of cages is required and this role is customer facing. Previous experience of PDA delivery systems is advantageous, but not required as full training/induction will be given.
Usual hours of work areMonday-Friday, start times from04:45am onwardsuntil finished. SomeSaturdayswill be required depending on client's needs. You will be paid for a minimum of9 hoursper day. The rate of pay is16.40per hourPAYE.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- You must hold a full UK HGV Class 2 / Category C License with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
- You must hold a current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Possess a broad knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
- Be clean and professional at all times.
- Possess good written and spoken communication skills.
