- Reviewing tender opportunities with the commercial team
- Attending site visits during tender stage
- Preparing and sending enquiries to the supply chain
- Raising RFIs and ensuring timely responses
- Assessing tender documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Preparing comprehensive cost submissions
- Identifying and managing project risk at bid stage
- Providing clear and accurate handover documentation to delivery teams
- Monitoring cost alignment during project mobilisation
- Previous estimating experience in a construction environment (main contracting)
- Familiarity with two-stage tendering processes
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- IT-literate with experience of estimating software and CRM systems, Excel and ConQuest
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Full driving licence essential; DBS clearance may be required
