We are looking for anElectrical Contracts Managerwho wants to work in a diverse rolewhere no two days are the same.

TheElectrical Contracts Manager,will be responsible for:

  • Project Management:Oversee all electrical contract elements, ensuring alignment with programme goals, budgets, and milestones.

  • Planning & Coordination:Develop detailed project plans and schedules. Collaborate closely with MEP disciplines, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Resource Management:Allocate labour, materials, and equipment effectively to achieve project objectives.

  • Quality Assurance:Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant standards and regulations. Conduct inspections and audits to guarantee high-quality work.

  • Safety Compliance:Enforce robust health and safety practices, addressing risks proactively.

  • Financial Oversight:Monitor and control expenditure, providing accurate financial and progress reports.

  • Risk Management:Identify risks and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.

  • Client Relations:Act as the main client contact, delivering progress updates and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Documentation:Maintain accurate project records, including permits, contracts, change orders, and reports.

  • Team Leadership:Lead and mentor engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and performance excellence.

To be successful for this Electrical Contracts Manager role you must have:

  • Experience:Significant experience in electrical engineering and project management, with a track record of delivering large-scale MEP projects (healthcare sector experience desirable).

  • Technical Expertise:Strong knowledge of electrical systems, BS 7671 wiring regulations, and relevant codes. Proficiency in project management tools/software.

  • Leadership:Proven ability to lead diverse teams in high-pressure project environments.

  • Communication:Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Problem-Solving:Excellent decision-making ability to manage complex project challenges.

  • Qualifications: SMSTS,JIB Gold card and 18th Edition. PMP and NEC3/NEC4 Training is desirable
