Are you an experienced engineer with a thorough understanding of designing and developing products with embedded PIC microcontrollers, looking to work for a growing original equipment manufacturer supplying a wide range of industries around the globe?
Would you like a role working with an experienced engineering team, utilising cutting-edge technologies where you will play a key part in developing next-generation soft start motor controllers?
On offer is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management, ensuring designs are robust, reliable, and compliant with international standards. You will also closely collaborate with the US team and contribute to the wider product development lifecycle, including circuit design, power electronics, thermal analysis, and PC-based remote-control tools.
This is a key role within a business that is the global leader in the design and manufacture of motor control solutions, who are regarded internationally as pioneers in digital soft starter technology.
This would suit someone with a proven track record in electronic product development, working with EU/US compliance standards, with the ability to write efficient, maintainable embedded software.
The role:
- Designing and developing products with embedded PIC microcontrollers, with future projects moving to ARM cores
- Supporting product certification processes and ensuring compliance with global standards
- Contributing to the wider product development lifecycle, including circuit design, power electronics, thermal analysis, and PC-based remote-control tools
The person:
- Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven track record in electronic product development
