A successful and growing national wealth management firm is seeking an experienced, qualified Financial Planner to inherit an established client bank and drive further business growth.

This is a client-facing role suited to an individual who is highly self-motivated, commercially minded, and committed to delivering a high standard of advice across pensions, investments, and protection. The firm has a collaborative and professional culture and offers the right infrastructure and long-term incentives for advisers to thrive.

Key Highlights:

  • Inherit a warm client bank of c.100 households with approximately £30m AUM
  • Focus on developing long-term client relationships, not transactional advice
  • Flexible, hybrid model
  • Bonus is based on new advice fees generated – no validation
  • Long-Term Incentive Plan based on overall business performance
  • Full administrative and paraplanning support provided

Candidate Requirements:

  • Level 4 qualified (DipPFS, DipFA or CISI Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice)
  • Chartered (Adv.DipFA, APFS, or Level 6 CISI) or working towards is advantageous
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a client-facing advisory role
  • Fully competent in delivering holistic advice on pensions and investments
  • Entrepreneurial approach to business development with a proven track record
  • Confident communicator capable of handling client relationships and building referrals
  • Experience with Intelligent Office (IO) is a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel and manage a flexible diary

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Basic salary between £50,000 – £80,000 depending on experience
  • Realistic annual discretionary bonus of £10,000 – £22,000
  • Participation in a Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP)
  • 25 days holiday (increasing with service) plus bank holidays

  • Income Protection (75% of salary after 3 months)
