Experienced Stores Operative/7.5T Driver required for manufacturing business based inPlympton. The successful candidate will be required to transporting goods locally, with occasional longer trips, and assisting in warehouse operations such as production preparation and packing. This is a Permanent opportunity for the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Crafter Van and occasionally a 7.5T lorry for local deliveries around Plympton and Newton Abbot, with occasional trips to Newport.
- Prepare products, pack and band parts to pallets ready for shipment.
- Drive a crafter van for local deliveries.
- Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring the safe handling and securing of goods.
- Conduct vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
Experience
- Valid 7.5T driving licence.
- Ability to work efficiently in a warehouse setting, with attention to safety and quality.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and priorise tasks.
