Essential Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

You will serve as a technical expert, guiding projects through the entire engineering lifecycle, focusing on clear communication, technical excellence, and robust risk management:



Project & Technical Leadership

  • Work collaboratively with diverse engineering discipline leads to manage project progress, clearly reporting on risks and opportunities.

  • Develop comprehensive and detailed requirement specifications for engineering activities.

  • Proactively assess project risks and lead risk management in specialist roles.

  • Compile and peer-review high-quality project and technical reports.

  • Utilize both creative and logical thinking to resolve complex design and development problems.

  • Introduce best practices and operational learnings from prior engagements to optimize current projects.



Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate and liaise effectively with a wide range of project stakeholders.

  • Maintain flexibility as project requirements evolve, ensuring all parties are promptly notified of changes.

  • Support governance and project review meetings.



Required Domain Expertise

Candidates must demonstrate specialized, hands-on knowledge in the following areas:

  • Vessel Performance: Expert knowledge of ship stability and precise weight allocations.

  • Systems & Structures: Deep understanding of complex ship systems and marine structures.

  • Design Implementation: Experience designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety and reliability.

  • Naval Operations: Knowledge of mooring and towing procedures.

  • Maritime Environment: Experience in servicing and operations within a dockyard environment.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with the marine classification system.

  • Validation: Ability to develop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs.
