JOB TITLE: Temporary People Administrator
LOCATION: Devonport, Plymouth
HOURLY RATE: 12.21
HOURS: 3 days a week or 5 hours a day (Flexible)
THE COMPANY:
A well-established company, who provide technical industrial services to a large variety of clients. The role is the administration of employee's absences, holidays etc. in a fast-paced down to earth team and company.
THE ROLE:
As a People Administrator you will play an essential role in processing various HR tasks. Your commitment to excellence will make you an invaluable part of the team as you engage with other employees and process information and requests. Collaborating with various teams your efforts will place a crucial role in maintaining accurate people records for the organisation!
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In the mornings, listening to the employee absence line, noting in book, entering the information into the system and letting relevant managers know.
- Duties will include processing holiday forms, inputting the data into the system, scanning and filing the holiday forms.
- Administrative support of checking, completing, updating and maintaining company systems and trackers.
- Assisting with letter or email invites to meetings or disciplinaries.
KEY SKILLS:
- Strong organisation and proven experience in managing documentation and reports.
- Ability to prioritise workload, showcasing excellent time-management skills
- Relevant Administration or Business support qualifications are advantageous
- Experience in HR or recruitment is a plus, although not essential
- Proficiency in Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A great communicator who is able to liaise effectively with various departments
- Would suit a candidate who likes to work in a down to earth environment with a team full of banter!
