About the Role:
TQR Plymouth is excited to partner with a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing business in Plymouth, Devon, to find an experienced Payroll professional who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role.
As a Payroll Professional, you will be at the heart of ensuring employee satisfaction through precise and timely payroll processing. Your expertise will be crucial in managing a large volume of payroll data, handling various deductions and contributions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process payroll data for a significant number of employees.
- Manage a wide range of deductions and contributions, including pensions, benefits, and taxes.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the wider people team to support a positive employee experience.
- Utilise payroll software and confidently use Excel for data management.
You’ll be ideal for this role if you have:
- Proven experience in processing large volumes of payroll data.
- Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g. Sage or Iris) and Excel.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle challenging situations.
